For one of our clients located in Luxembourg Kirchberg, Sofitex Talent is currently looking for a
Senior Risk Analyst (M/F)

• Independently execute and oversee risk management activities, ensuring accurate performance of risk assessments, controls, and documentation in line with the Risk Management

Framework

• Take ownership of specific risk processes or frameworks (e.g., RCSA, KRI monitoring, incident tracking), ensuring their effective execution and continuous improvement
• Identify, assess, and analyze risks across business activities, including operational, ICT, and emerging risks, and propose mitigation measures
• Perform detailed analysis of risk indicators, trends, and events, identifying root causes and supporting forward-looking risk assessment
• Review and challenge risk data and control assessments, ensuring consistency, completeness, and alignment with internal methodologies
• Provide day-to-day advisory to internal stakeholders on risk-related matters, including interpretation of risk policies and methodologies
• Review and validate work performed by Risk Analysts, ensuring quality, accuracy, and adherence to defined standards
• Contribute to the development and enhancement of risk policies, procedures, and methodologies, including improvements to tools and reporting
• Support the preparation of risk reports and dashboards, including analysis, interpretation of results, and contribution to management insights
• Support ESG-related risk activities, including identification, assessment, and monitoring of sustainability-related risk exposures within the risk framework

PROFIL

• Relevant experience in Risk Management (typically 3-5 years) within the financial sector, with solid exposure to operational risk, ICT risk, or internal control frameworks
• Good understanding of risk management methodologies (e.g., RCSA, KRIs, incident management), with the ability to apply them independently
• Fluency in English. Fluency in Portuguese is an asset
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and propose practical solutions
• Ability to work autonomously while exercising sound judgment, including appropriate escalation of significant risks or issues
• Effective communication and stakeholder management skills, enabling clear articulation of risk topics and advisory to business units

Salary: depending on experience: between 5500 and 6300EUR brut + 13th month + meal vouchers
