SummaryIn the role of Commercial Garage Door Technician, you will assume a pivotal responsibility in the installation, maintenance, and repair of garage doors, dock equipment, and related systems. DutiesInstall garage door products per manufacturer specificationsBasic diagnostic and troubleshootingIdentify and repair mechanical and electrical failures. Perform preventive maintenance services. Maintain paperwork and records as necessary.

Maintain a safe, secure, and healthy work environmentRequirementsMust be at least 18 years of age.5+ years’ experience in garage door service/installation or similar skilled tradeMust possess a valid Driver’s LicenseMust have an acceptable MVR to be added to our auto insurance policy. Must have dependable, reliable transportation to and from your base office location.

Preferred QualificationsWelding, OSHA 10, first aid, and/or CPR certification(s)Basic knowledge of construction and hand toolsMechanical inclinationSkillsWillingness to learnStrong problem-solving skillsExcellent attention to detailCustomer service orientated mindsetAdaptability to changing work environmentExcellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Work ConditionsNon-climate-controlled environment – potentially working in all weather conditions.
