Job Description
Job Overview: The Capability Developer - Aerial/Counter Defilade Munitions supports the M-FCD in addressing the Loitering Munition System Gap and procuring new weapon systems. The position provides technical expertise and advisory support for Low Altitude Stalking and Strike Ordnance (LASSO) requirements and other applicable JCIDS efforts, including systems engineering, test planning, demonstrations, technical risk assessment, and program coordination.
Support Hours: Applicant shall be available during core work hours as established the Government customer.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Provide systems engineering, theoretical analysis, test planning, and program execution support addressing the Loitering Munition System Gap and new weapon-system procurement.
- Provide technical expertise and advisory services for development, coordination, and staffing of the LASSO requirement and other applicable JCIDS documentation, analyses, and supporting products.
- Develop and refine concepts of operations (CONOPS) and tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs), including scenario development for simulations, alternative-system analyses, and live demonstrations.
- Conduct systems engineering analysis and synchronize emergent inter-agency and intra-agency collaboration in support of mission and program objectives.
- Review program plans and integrated master schedules; prepare presentation materials; attend technical interchange meetings; and provide technical assistance through meetings and teleconferences.
- Summarize meeting outcomes and actions, identify technical risk areas, and outline mitigation strategies.
- Support focused meetings, IPTs, and demonstrations involving loitering-munition technology development, Joint-service synchronization, user operational assessments, rapid-fielding initiatives, and acquisition strategy/transition coordination.
- Prepare loitering-munition briefings, reports, visuals, and technical assessments, and develop traceable system-level requirements and notional concepts or architectures to inform portfolio investment decisions.

Minimum Requirements
- Minimum three years of Capabilities Development experience, Project Management experience, or Squad Leader/above leadership experience in a combat-arms branch.
- First-hand user experience within the previous 15 years with current aerial, indirect, or beyond-line-of-sight (BLOS) munitions supporting dismounted and mounted combat-arms or special-operations units.
Security Requirement
- Active Secret Clearance.
