The Role • Operate specialized heavy equipment, including hostlers, cranes, top loaders, and side loaders, to move and stack shipping containers. • Load and unload containers from railcars and trucks efficiently and safely. • Drive hostlers to precisely position containers and chassis within the intermodal yard. • Conduct pre- and post-operation equipment inspections to ensure safety and functionality. • Collaborate with yard personnel and supervisors to coordinate daily logistics tasks. • Maintain a safe working environment by adhering to established protocols and procedures. What You'll Need • A valid driver’s license is mandatory. • Previous experience operating heavy machinery in a logistics or industrial setting is preferred. • Strong commitment to safety and a keen eye for detail. • Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting up to 50lbs and climbing. • Willingness to work flexible schedules, including nights, weekends, and holidays. • Basic communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team.
