Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Flexographic Printing Operator to join our fast-paced production team. In this role, you will specialize in printing high-quality text, solid colors, and complex patterns on a wide range of non-absorbent materials-primarily LDPE-to manufacture premium poly bags and poly mailers.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate & Maintain Flexo Presses: Set up, monitor, and run flexographic printing presses to achieve superior image clarity and color accuracy on non-absorbent substrates like LDPE.
  
• Manage Ink Systems: Work efficiently with a wide range of colors, utilizing both water-based and oil-based inks. Focus on running eco-friendly, non-toxic, and biodegradable water-based inks to align with sustainable industry practices.
  
• Execute Time-Sensitive Runs: Leverage the quick-drying and rapid evaporation advantages of flexographic inks to meet tight production schedules and urgent customer requirements.
  
• Quality Control: Inspect printed poly bags and poly mailers continuously to ensure they meet rigorous, top-tier quality standards that customers expect from a premium product.
  
• Sustainability Compliance: Follow environmental guidelines and utilize flexographic tools designed to minimize environmental impact and waste in an industry under scrutiny.
  

What We Are Looking For

• Experience: Proven hands-on experience as a Flexographic Printing Operator (experience printing on poly bags, poly mailers, or flexible packaging/LDPE is a strong plus).
  
• Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of flexography, with an eye for sharp image reproduction, solid colors, and intricate artwork designs across diverse design choices.
  
• Ink & Substrate Expertise: Familiarity with handling non-absorbent materials and working with various ink formulations, especially water-based, nontoxic, and biodegradable options.
  
• Detail-Oriented: Ability to troubleshoot print quality issues quickly and manage time-sensitive product runs efficiently.
  
• Safety & Eco-Conscious: A proactive approach to maintaining a clean, safe, and environmentally responsible workspace.
