Description
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to support an Innovation Accelerator initiative focused on energy efficiency, grid modernization, renewable energy integration, and electrification. The selected candidate will manage project planning, execution, budgets, schedules, risks, vendor deliverables, and stakeholder communications for a multi-year energy load management device project.
Key Responsibilities

• Develop and manage project plans, schedules, budgets, resources, and contingency plans.
• Track project performance, risks, timelines, and critical paths.
• Manage vendor tasks, deliverables, and project documentation.
• Prepare project status updates, budget reports, and compliance reports.
• Coordinate project meetings, workstreams, and stakeholder communications.
• Identify project issues, implement solutions, and document lessons learned.

 
Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 8 years of relevant experience for PG&E candidates or 9 years for external hires in project management, project controls, engineering, and/or construction.

 
Preferred Qualifications

• PMP certification.
• Experience with PG&E or similar electric utilities.
• Electric industry experience.
• Familiarity with PlanisWare and project budget reporting systems.
