The Role
We're hiring a Head of Product Development to own the technical vision and execution of WT’s EAP technology platform. This is a senior, highly cross-functional role responsible for building and/or managing contract organizations to develop the WT technology platform. This platform will support a growing network of clinical sites, physicians and patients; it will include patient-facing and clinician-facing portals, capturing clinical outcomes and tracking each program's progress.What You'll Do
- Own the technical roadmap and architecture for WT’s platform modules (network enrollment, physician and patient portals, data pipelines, and analytics/reporting)
- Direct and manage contracted product and engineering organizations, ensuring delivery quality and continuity as the platform scales
- Translate clinical operations and regulatory requirements into a coherent technical product strategy
- Partner with WT’s clinical, regulatory, and business development leadership, and represent the technical program to external partners, sponsors, and funding agencies
- Define and track metrics that demonstrate the platform's scalability and impact
- Significant experience leading product and/or engineering teams building healthcare, clinical trial, or health-data software, ideally within regulated environments
- Strong technical background (architecture-level fluency across web/cloud platforms, data pipelines, and integrations) with the judgment to know when to be hands-on
- Experience with healthcare data standards and interoperability is a strong plus
- Comfort operating in a small, fast-moving company where you'll define process as much as execute it
- Excellent written and verbal communication. This role will represent WT’s technical work to clinical partners, sponsors, and funding agencies
- Genuine interest in WT’s mission: expanding access to investigational treatments for patients who can't enroll in controlled trials
- Prior experience with clinical trial or EAP operations
