Talent Sourcing Partner

As a Talent Sourcing Partner, you’ll join an experienced in-house Talent team that cares about delivering great recruitment outcomes and continually improving how we support our organisation.

This opportunity has been created while one of our Talent Sourcing Partners takes on a six-month secondment within our broader team. You’ll step into an established portfolio with strong relationships, good context and plenty happening. The current Partner will remain close by and available for knowledge sharing and continuity, while you’ll have genuine ownership of the portfolio and the opportunity to build your own relationships with the leaders you support.

This is much more than moving vacancies through a recruitment process. You’ll get to know the business areas you support, understand their workforce priorities and become a trusted Talent partner to their leaders. You’ll bring your knowledge of the internal and external talent market, help leaders think through what they really need and connect recruitment decisions to broader workforce and organisational priorities.

You’ll also be part of a team that works closely together. We each take ownership of our portfolios, but we share talent, insights and ideas, step in when priorities shift and work collectively on improvements across Talent Sourcing. We value good judgement, curiosity and people who spot opportunities to make things simpler or better.

You’ll have the context and support you need to get moving quickly, while being trusted to bring your own experience, judgement and perspective to the role.
This role is a 6 month max-term opportunity and is based in Brisbane.

Day to day, you'll:

• Build trusted relationships with leaders and develop a strong understanding of the business areas, teams and workforce priorities within your portfolio.
• Take end-to-end ownership of recruitment, from understanding the underlying workforce need through to sourcing, selection, offer and onboarding.
• Partner with leaders and People & Culture colleagues to shape recruitment approaches that respond to immediate needs while considering longer-term capability.
• Identify and engage internal and external talent, helping create greater visibility of capability and career opportunities across ART.
• Proactively build talent pipelines for specialist, recurring and future capability needs.
• Bring talent market knowledge and insights into workforce conversations, helping leaders make informed recruitment decisions.
• Coach and support leaders to run effective and inclusive selection processes and make confident hiring decisions.
• Use recruitment data and insights to understand trends, inform decisions and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Create a positive and considered experience for candidates and leaders throughout the recruitment process.
• Contribute beyond your own portfolio by sharing talent, knowledge and ideas and helping improve how our Talent Sourcing team works across ART.

It goes without saying you'll be a great communicator with top notch interpersonal skills. We'll also expect you to pick up problems and come up with quick, creative ways to solve them. It's quite likely you tick some of the following boxes too:

• You have strong end-to-end recruitment experience, ideally within an in-house Talent Acquisition or Talent Sourcing environment.
• Your approach is relationship-led, and you enjoy getting to know the business you support rather than simply filling individual vacancies.
• You'll be comfortable stepping into an established portfolio, getting across the context quickly and taking ownership.
• You're confident partnering with leaders, asking thoughtful questions and bringing a Talent perspective to workforce conversations.
• You have experience using a mix of internal mobility, direct sourcing, talent pooling and external market strategies to connect the right people with opportunities.
• Your candidate experience matters to you, and you understand the role Talent plays in representing an organisation and its culture.
• You'll be comfortable balancing multiple priorities and using good judgement to keep recruitment moving.
• You're curious about recruitment technology, data and new ways of working that can simplify or improve the experience.
• You enjoy working collaboratively and sharing knowledge, ideas and talent across a team rather than operating solely within your own portfolio.
• Your experience in financial services, superannuation or another large, complex organisation would be valuable, but isn't essential.
