MECHANICAL MAINTENANCE ENGINEER . Blackburn<br /> £43,000 per year<br /> Permanent position<br /> Monday-Thursday: 08:00-17:00 | Friday: 08:00-15:00 . ES Recruit are recruiting for an experienced Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to join a busy manufacturing environment in Blackburn.

This is a hands-on permanent position, responsible for keeping plant and equipment running efficiently, carrying out planned and reactive maintenance, and supporting ongoing improvements across the site. .

THE ROLE - Liasing with managerial staff regarding new plant requirements - Planned and reactive mechanical maintenance, including fault finding and breakdown responses - Manage contractors safely and ensure compliance with company safe systems of work. - Ensure all plant and measuring equipment is maintained and operating efficiently. .

REQUIREMENTS - Mechanical Engineering qualification. - Previous maintenance experience. - Knowledge of pumps, valves, mixers and motors. - Strong mechanical fault-finding and problem-solving skills. .
