Network Operations Engineer

Description:

• Provide proactive and reactive technical support to ensure the stability and performance of a large-scale enterprise networking environment.
• Serve as a trusted technical advisor supporting day-to-day network operations, migrations, and lifecycle management.

Role Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day support for campus switching, routing, and wireless infrastructure.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex network issues, coordinating with our client's networking support and engineering teams.
• Support network upgrades, migrations, and infrastructure expansion projects.
• Develop implementation plans, validation procedures, rollback plans, and operational runbooks.
• Perform root cause analysis and recommend corrective and preventative actions.
• Support Mist Wireless Assurance, Mist Wired Assurance, and Marvis AI environments.

Required Background and Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of experience supporting large-scale enterprise network environments.
• Strong operational expertise with EX Series and QFX Series switching platforms.
• Strong understanding of Layer 2 and Layer 3 networking concepts.
• Experience with routing protocols including OSPF and BGP.
• Experience with Mist Wireless Assurance, Mist Wired Assurance, and Marvis AI.
• Experience supporting large-scale wireless deployments and migration projects.
• Strong troubleshooting, fault isolation, and root cause analysis skills.
• Strong customer-facing communication and documentation skills.
