Job Description

 

Job Title: Clinical Research Nurse
Banding: Band 5/6
Location: Leeds
Hourly Pay Rate: £25 – £30 per hour

 

Join a team driven by one purpose — improving global health outcomes. Our client is looking for a dedicated, NMC‑registered Nurse with at least 3 years experience working in clinical research, supporting innovative clinical trials across multiple therapeutic areas.

What You’ll Do

  • Carry out participant visits, observations, interventions and safety checks in line with study protocols and SOPs
  • Complete pre‑screen assessments to support strong patient recruitment
  • Build positive relationships that encourage participant engagement and retention
  • Record, verify and enter study data accurately into source notes and CRFs/eCRFs
  • Respond to data queries promptly
  • Maintain a professional, supportive environment for participants and colleagues
  • Participate in MDT meetings
  • Act confidently in emergencies (e.g., cardiac arrest, anaphylaxis, critical incidents)

What you will bring

  • Valid NMC PIN
  • A minimum of 3 years experience working as a clinical research nurse
  • Strong clinical experience within a patient‑facing environment
  • Excellent clinical assessment and observational skills
  • Confident communicator with strong organisational skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced research setting
  • High attention to detail and accurate documentation
  • Comfortable using electronic health record systems
