Senior Specialist, Data Scientist

We’re seeking a future team member for the role of Data Scientist to join our IT Asset Management team. This role is in Pittsburgh, PA and Lake Mary, FL. 

In this role, you’ll make an impact in the following ways:

• Identify and implement opportunities for automation and AI across the Evergreen space, including building stakeholder agents for different personas, driving anomaly detection and data quality improvements, and delivering predictive insights on assets approaching their end-of-life dates.
• Support data modeling ("what if" scenarios) and other reporting needs to support regulatory, audit, and other ad hoc queries.
• Define requirements for, and work with our dedicated development team to build, insight-focused dashboards and reports.
• Lead scheduled sessions with Platform/Line of Business Resiliency teams to review their Evergreen positions and recommend key actions to stay within risk tolerances.

To be successful in this role, we’re seeking the following:

• 2+ years of experience in a Data Science role.
• Hands-on experience utilizing AI tools and applying AI techniques.
• Ability to translate a plain English ask into a data-rich response.
• Comfort presenting information to small groups and summarizing material for a wide audience. A 'can-do' attitude.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or at least 5 years of equivalent work experience required4-5 years of related experience required; experience in the securities or financial services industry is a plus.
