Client has completed its S/4 HANA Finance foundation and is now looking for a Solution Architect who can drive the next phase: optimizing financial processes, leveraging new S/4 HANA capabilities, and building intelligent extensions on SAP BTP. This is not a configuration role — this is a strategic advisory and design role for someone who deeply understands what S/4 HANA Finance can do today, what SAP BTP enables on top of it, and how AI is changing financial operations.

What This Person Will Do

Assess current S/4 HANA Finance implementation and identify opportunities where new S/4 features, BTP extensions, or AI capabilities can eliminate manual work, improve accuracy, or accelerate financial close. Design and architect side-by-side extensions on SAP BTP that enhance S/4 without modifying the core — ensuring all future S/4 upgrades remain clean and unimpacted. Guide eBay''s finance and technology teams on the clean core principle: what belongs inside S/4 versus what should be built on BTP. Introduce AI and automation into financial operations — leveraging SAP Joule, SAP Build Process Automation, and SAP Business AI for use cases like automated period-end closing, intelligent exception handling, and predictive reconciliation.
