Sr. Lead Program/Project Manager

Software Guidance & Assistance, Inc., (SGA), is searching for a Sr. Lead Program/Project Manager for a contract assignment with one of our premier Infrastructure Services clients. This role will be remote
The Senior Lead Project Manager provides strategic leadership across portfolios of complex initiatives and acts as a trusted advisor to executives. This role sets direction for project delivery, leads transformation initiatives, and plays a critical role in shaping enterprise execution strategy .
Responsibilities :

• Lead and govern multiple related projects or major strategic initiatives
• Partner with executives to translate strategy into executable roadmaps
• Provide oversight, guidance, and direction to Senior Project Managers and project teams
• Identify and manage cross-project dependencies, enterprise risks, and resource constraints
• Drive enterprise-wide delivery consistency, best practices, and capability maturity
• Lead large-scale business transformation or process reengineering initiatives
• Influence policy, tooling, and governance decisions within the VMO
• Represent project delivery status, risks, and recommendations at executive and board levels
• Champion change management, stakeholder engagement, and organizational readiness

Required Skills :

• Bachelor's degree required; MBA or advanced degree strongly preferred
• 12+ years of project and/or program management experience
• Demonstrated leadership of large programs, portfolios, or enterprise transformations
• Deep knowledge of financial services, technology, or comparable complex industries
• Exceptional executive communication, negotiation, and leadership presence
• Certifications (Preferred)
  • PMP
  • SAFe Program Consultant (SPC), Agile Coach, or equivalent
