Help Desk/Desktop Support Analyst

Description

I am looking for a Service Desk/IT Support Specialist to join a great team. You will be onsite at their corporate office in St. Paul, MN.

This person will be the first point of contact for all inbound IT support. You'll troubleshoot issues across Active Directory, VPN, email, remote access, hardware, and user accounts, while escalating more complex issues to Tier 2 and engineering teams. What makes the role different is that the person will also have the opportunity to help build the Service Desk from the ground up. You will work with tools like NinjaOne, Webex Calling, Intune, and Autopilot, help clean up and maintain the knowledge base, improve ticketing processes, and identify opportunities to leverage AI to improve call handling and support workflows.

Requirements

At least 2 years of experience in help desk, service desk, desktop support, or a similar technical support role.

Hands-on experience supporting Windows environments, including Windows 10 and general desktop technologies.

Working knowledge of 365 applications and the ability to troubleshoot common end-user issues effectively.

Familiarity with Active Directory and user account administration tasks.

Experience using ticketing systems to track incidents, service requests, and resolutions.

Strong customer service, communication, and problem-solving skills in user-facing support situations.

Ability to work a flexible schedule that includes after-hours, weekend, holiday, and on-call rotations.
