This employer is a prominent player in the energy infrastructure sector, contributing significantly to the energy transition in Southwest Germany. They are seeking a skilled Metalworker/Fitter to join their High Voltage / Substations division, playing a key role in critical infrastructure projects.

The Role

• Assembling steel structures for medium, high, and extra-high voltage substations (up to 380kV).
• Installing high and medium-voltage equipment and electrical systems.
• Performing assembly and disassembly of various connections, including screwed and pressed joints.
• Managing pipe and cable assembly, including cable pulling.
• Reviewing and marking up technical drawings with revisions.

What You'll Need

• Completed apprenticeship in metalworking, industrial mechanics, construction mechanics, or a similar field.
• Proven experience in metalworking, ideally within construction, mechanical engineering, energy, or related industries.
• Familiarity with electrical systems is advantageous.
• A valid driver's license (Class B) and willingness to travel to work sites with your own vehicle.
• Readiness for regular site assignments throughout Southwest Germany, including overnight stays.
• Good German language skills and a self-motivated work ethic.
