Part time Grants Writer

Our client has a mission-driven nonprofit dedicated to empowering communities through education, workforce development, and civic engagement. We are seeking a skilled Grants Writer to help secure funding that enables us to expand our programs and create meaningful impact.

Position: Part-Time | Flexible Schedule

Responsibilities:

• Research, identify, and evaluate potential grant opportunities from foundations, corporations, and government sources

• Write compelling grant proposals, letters of inquiry, and supporting documents

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with donors, sponsors, and funding agencies

• Collaborate with program staff and leadership to gather programmatic information and data for proposals

• Track grant deadlines, submissions, and reporting requirements

• Support overall fundraising strategies and initiatives

• Assist in preparing donor communications and sponsorship requests

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in grant writing for nonprofits

• Excellent research, writing, and editing skills

• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and deadlines

• Ability to communicate effectively with donors, sponsors, and internal teams

• Knowledge of nonprofit funding landscape and grant management preferred

• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities efficiently
