Copywriter

The role:
As a copywriter within Whop's brand team you'll develop, refine, and elevate our voice across social media, blog, and out-of-home surfaces.

Responsibilities:

• Translate foundational materials into taglines, slogans, headlines, tweets, captions, and blog posts

• Work with the creative team to iterate on the Whop voice across X, Instagram, TikTok, and LinkedIn, and Whop’s blog.

• Ideate and write copy across on Whop product surfaces and website.

• Turn core voice guidelines into scalable systems for content writing across surfaces.

Qualifications:

• High level of media literacy and an active practice of posting on but not limited to Instagram, X, Substack, LinkedIn on topics like media, culture, art, and technology.

• Internet native sensibilities and strong understanding of trend cycles.

• Experience with social media for media and technology companies

• Experience Bonus: proficiency in posting automation systems and AI workflows

  Compensation / perks

  • Compensation range: $100,000- $120,000 + meaningful equity.

  • Equinox membership, lunch & dinner M–F, Rent stipend within 0.5 mile of the office
