Senior Full Stack Java / React Lead

Role overview

Seeking a Senior Full Stack Developer to support the team’s content platform. This is a hands-on technical lead role requiring strong full-stack development experience, mentoring capabilities, and the ability to collaborate with and influence stakeholders.

The position is currently an individual contributor role, with managerial potential being evaluated for possible future conversion.

Must-have skills

  • Java: 8-10 years of development experience.
  • React: Strong front-end development skills.
  • Node.js: Back-end/full-stack development experience.
  • Full-stack capabilities: Strong in at least one stack with solid working knowledge of the other.
  • Technical mentorship: Experience guiding and mentoring developers.
  • Collaboration: Ability to work effectively in a highly collaborative environment.
  • Stakeholder influence: Strong communication and relationship-building skills.

Nice-to-have skills

  • Tailwind CSS: Experience with the styling framework.
  • Content Management Systems: Experience with content platforms or content management solutions.
  • Management potential: Demonstrated ability or interest in eventually moving into a people-management role.

Leadership expectations

A senior Java/React full-stack engineer with approximately 5–8 years of experience who enjoys hands-on development but can also mentor others and demonstrate leadership potential.
