Lead process to identify, evaluate and negotiate acquisition, investment, and strategic partnership opportunities across multiple business areas, including commerce, collectibles, and gaming; Lead financial and strategic analysis to assess business models, growth opportunities, risks, and potential value creation; Oversee creation of financial models and forecasts, including operating models, valuation analyses, and scenario and sensitivity analysis; Lead diligence activities with business partners, cross functional teams and external advisors by gathering, reviewing, and synthesizing financial, operational, and commercial information; Prepare written summaries, analyses, and presentation materials to communicate findings, assumptions, and recommendations to executive leadership; Support transaction documentation (in partnership with legal counsel) and drive internal approval processes and stakeholder decision making; Monitor market, industry, and competitor trends using financial and market research tools to support strategic decision-making; Build and maintain relationships with companies, founders, investment banks, venture capital firms, private equity sponsors and industry advisors; Assist and lead strategic finance and corporate initiatives as needed based on organizational priorities; Mentor and train junior team members. Partial telecommuting permitted; on-site at 95 Morton Street, New York, NY 10014 when not telecommuting. Salary: $250,000 - $270,000 per year.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s Degree or U.S. equivalent in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field, plus 4 years of professional experience as an Investment Analyst, Financial Analyst, or any occupation, job title, or position performing financial analysis, valuation, and transaction diligence including investment banking.

Must also have experience in the following: 4 years of professional experience preparing and analyzing financial projections, forecasts, and valuation materials to assess the strategic and financial impact of mergers, acquisitions, and strategic transactions; 4 years of professional experience conducting transaction diligence, including reviewing financial, operational, and commercial information and preparing diligence summaries and readouts; 4 years of professional experience coordinating with cross-functional internal teams and external advisors to support transaction execution, including scheduling meetings, tracking diligence requests, and consolidating inputs; 4 years of professional experience preparing and presenting financial and strategic analysis in MS excel or PowerPoint to executive leadership to support transaction evaluation and decision-making; 4 years of professional experience building and maintaining bottoms-up operating models in MS Excel, including multi-year projections, scenario analysis, and sensitivity analyses; 4 years of professional experience developing market and competitive analysis, including tracking publicly traded comparable companies and preparing periodic industry and sector reporting using equity research and public information; 4 years of professional experience working in a deal team structure and mentoring junior team members.
