Job Overview
Key Responsibilities
- Own end-to-end delivery of infrastructure projects across the full lifecycle: discovery, design, build, migration/cutover, hypercare, and steady-state handover
- Develop and maintain project plans, migration wave plans, work-back schedules, budgets, and resourcing plans
- Plan and govern migration events, cutovers, and maintenance windows including rollback plans and runbooks
- Operate within ITIL-aligned change, incident, and problem management; present RFCs to Change Advisory Board
- Maintain stakeholder maps and deliver executive-level status reporting, including during high-severity events
- Manage third-party vendors, OEMs, carriers, and managed service providers
Required Skills
- 10+ years managing infrastructure or IT operations projects for enterprise clients, preferably in a consulting environment
- Demonstrated delivery of at least one large-scale infrastructure program (data center migration/exit, cloud migration, network refresh, M&A integration)
- Working knowledge of compute, storage, virtualization (VMware, Hyper-V), networking (LAN, WAN, SD-WAN, firewalls, load balancers), backup/DR, and public cloud landing zones
- Experience with ITIL-aligned change and incident management and Change Advisory Board presentations
- Proven Agile delivery experience; comfort with hybrid and waterfall models
- Experience with DevOps and ITSM tools: GitHub, JIRA, Azure DevOps, ServiceNow
- PMP, PRINCE2, ITIL, Agile/Scrum, or cloud certifications (AWS, Azure) — REQUIRED
Preferred Skills
- Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code and automation concepts (Terraform, Ansible)
- Experience with PMIS solutions for technical or engineering projects
