IT Deployment Lead

Technical Deployment Lead (Windows & Mac Deployment)
Marina del Rey, CA (Onsite 5 Days/Week)
8-Month Contract | 40 Hours/Week
CDW is seeking a hands-on Technical Deployment Lead to support the opening of a new hospital facility and lead the deployment of approximately 800 Windows and Mac workstations. This is not a traditional Project Manager role. We're looking for someone who can lead deployment activities from the front, coordinate technicians, solve technical issues, and help drive a successful go-live.
Top Experience Required

• Strong Windows and Mac device deployment experience
• Experience leading deployment technicians and field resources
• Experience with large-scale workstation rollouts
• Medical, Healthcare or hospital deployment experience strongly preferred
• Hands-on technical leader, not a traditional Project Manager

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day deployment activities for a large-scale workstation rollout
• Coordinate and direct deployment technicians across multiple deployment phases
• Oversee device staging, imaging, configuration, deployment, and validation
• Track device inventory, asset management, deployment status, and issue escalation
• Coordinate deployment schedules around construction timelines and site readiness
• Partner with IT, networking, facilities, infrastructure, and project teams to ensure successful delivery
• Troubleshoot deployment challenges and provide hands-on technical support when needed
• Support go-live activities and ensure end-user readiness

Qualifications

• Proven experience deploying and supporting Windows and macOS devices at scale
• Experience leading desktop deployment teams or field technicians
• Background managing large workstation refreshes, migrations, or new-site deployments
• Strong organizational, communication, and coordination skills
• Experience with asset tracking, deployment validation, and issue management
• Ability to work onsite in Marina, CA throughout the project duration
