In this fast-paced environment, your expertise will help ensure every prescription meets the highest standards.\n\nIn this position you will monitor and assure compliance to State and Federal Rules and Regulations, FDA requirements, manufacturer contractual Adverse Event and Product Complaint clinical requirements and complete general Product Verification Checks.\n\nLocation: This position is onsite at our Whitestown, IN location.
\nSchedule: This is a 2nd shift position Monday through Friday 2:30 pm -11:00 pm.\n\nEssential Functions\n\n \n Provide oversight and quality assurance to pharmacy technicians.\n \n Replenish automated counting equipment\n \n Perform product verification of technician prepared items\n \n Address orders with patient specific special handling requests\n \n Direct supervision of technicians working in all areas of the pharmacy\n \n Opening, closing, and securing of pharmacy during production hours\n \n Fill liquid orders requiring pharmacist dispensing\n \n Maintain quality and efficiency expectations\n \n Adhere to all state and federal regulations surrounding pharmacy practice\n \n Training of other pharmacists and/or technicians in functions\n \n Back up other pharmacists as needed, perform additional duties as assigned by management, or train less experienced pharmacists.\n\n\nQualifications\n\n \n Graduate of ACPE Accreditation School of Pharmacy with a B.S.

Pharmacy or Pharm.

D, degree.\n \n 1+ year relevant experience, preferred.\n \n Current resident pharmacist license in good standing.\n \n Advanced problem solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively with other departments to resolve issues.\n \n Good oral and written communication skills.\n \n Ability to read and interpret prescriptions.\n \n Strong focus on customer service, quality and accuracy.\n \n Ability to manage timelines and meet tight client deadlines.\n \n Ability to adapt in a changing environment.\n \n Ability to work a flexible schedule for peak volume times.\n\n\nThis position is work site dependent and can only be performed onsite at our Whitestown, IN location.\n\n\nIf you will be working at home occasionally or permanently, the internet connection must be obtained through a cable broadband or fiber optic internet service provider with speeds of at least 10Mbps download/5Mbps upload.\n\n\nAbout Evernorth Health Services\nEvernorth Health Services, a division of The Cigna Group, creates pharmacy, care and benefit solutions to improve health and increase vitality.
