RF Net Systems Performance Engineer II

Position Title: RF Net Systems Performance Engineer II
Position Duties: Evaluate service performance trends and isolate root causes of impacted services. Utilize knowledge of 5G, LTE, IP, and microwave to contribute to network design. Perform testing and analyses of relevant key performance indicators. Coordinate technical investigations and test with appropriate regional, area and HQ functions. Provide technical analysis, troubleshooting, and training assistance to markets and regions. Optimize networks using traditional and innovative means.

Investigate and resolve customer complaints regarding service. Conduct data analysis of switch statistics and drive data by conducting drive/walk testing for potential sites, new site integration, and system optimization. Maintain accuracy of the databases and tools to ensure proper reporting. Work may be performed at various unanticipated locations throughout the US.

Work Location: 999 West Big Beaver Road Troy, MI 48084
Work Hours: 8 AM to 5 PM
Minimum Qualifications: US Bachelors' degree or foreign equivalent degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field and four (4) years of experience as an RF engineering professional OR US Master's degree or foreign equivalent degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field and two (2) years of experience as an RF engineering professional.

Special Skill Requirements: Experience must include: Atoll; and RFDS.Must have two (2) years of experience in each of the following: LTE or VoLTE technology; 5G and LTE network KPIs and key parameters; network design or optimization; call flow analysis tool; and Tableau.
