Status: Part-time, independent contractor

Trilith Institute is seeking a Recruitment & Advising Specialist to recruit students for Semester at Trilith, an immersive, credit-bearing semester in which students learn inside a working production studio at Trilith Studios in metro Atlanta. The Specialist represents the program at campuses and recruitment events, advises prospective students and families, and manages the enrollment pipeline from first inquiry through enrollment.

Key Responsibilities

Outreach & Events

• Develop and maintain an annual calendar of study abroad and study away fairs, major and career fairs, and relevant conferences
• Represent Semester at Trilith at fairs, information sessions, classroom visits, and student organization meetings, with a focus on film, communication, theatre, business, computer science, game design, and sports management programs
• Host virtual information sessions for prospective students and families on a regular schedule
• Coordinate campus visits and Trilith tours for prospective students, parents, advisors, and faculty
• Recruit and coordinate student ambassadors from past cohorts

Advising & University Liaison

• Serve as a point of contact for prospective students and families from initial inquiry through enrollment
• Advise prospective students on program fit, academic pathways, minimesters, academic credit, program cost, and available scholarships, and refer detailed credit and financial aid questions to Academic Programming
• Schedule and host meetings with academic advisors and department chairs at partner and target institutions
• Coordinate with registrar's offices on enrollment and credit requirements
• Serve as liaison between prospective students, Semester at Trilith staff, and academic leadership at the student's home institution, and maintain a directory of advisor and faculty contacts

Enrollment Pipeline & Reporting

• Record all inquiries, contacts, and events in the CRM
• Manage the enrollment pipeline from inquiry through application, admission, deposit, and enrollment, with a defined follow-up schedule at each stage
• Submit a weekly pipeline report to the Senior Director, Academic Programming and the Marketing Manager
• Identify which institutions, events, and sources generate enrollments, and report recurring questions from prospective students to inform marketing and admissions materials
• Maintain a current supply of recruitment and booth materials

Qualifications & Skills

• Two or more years of experience in college admissions, study abroad or study away, student recruitment, or advising
• Strong presentation skills at recruitment events and in classroom settings
• Highly organized, with consistent follow-up and experience using a CRM such as HighLevel, Slate, HubSpot, or Salesforce
• Ability to travel, including occasional overnight trips, with reliable transportation
• Commitment to the confidentiality of student information

Preferred Experience

• Familiarity with FERPA
• Experience with credit transfer or registrar processes
• Existing relationships with study away offices in the Southeast
• Interest in film, entertainment, or the creative industries
