Location: North Scarle, Lincoln, with travel to Cannock, Kirkcaldy and Taunton
Salary: £42,000
Hours: Monday–Friday, 40 hours per week
Reports to: Head of Transport
The Role
We’re looking for an experienced National CPC & Training Manager to take central ownership of driver training across the Noble Foods transport business.
You’ll deliver Driver CPC periodic training across our sites while owning the content, quality and consistency of training delivered by our site-based Driver Trainers.
This is a matrix role, requiring someone who can lead through knowledge, credibility and influence, while working closely with site management and trainers across the business.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver RTITB-accredited Driver CPC periodic training across all Noble Foods sites.
- Plan and manage a national training calendar across five geographically dispersed sites.
- Own and maintain a consistent, version-controlled national training content library.
- Set training standards and ensure delivery meets DVSA/RTITB requirements.
- Provide coaching, mentoring and technical support to site Driver Trainers.
- Audit and quality-assure trainer delivery, providing feedback and identifying areas for improvement.
- Maintain accurate national training records and monitor CPC compliance.
- Report on training delivery, compliance, trainer performance and identified risks.
- Analyse accident and fuel consumption data to identify training needs.
- Keep training content up to date with legislation, equipment, technology and business priorities.
- Support health & safety audits, FTA/Logistics UK visits and regulatory compliance.
What We're Looking For:
Essential
- Clean HGV Category C+E licence.
- Current experience delivering Driver CPC periodic training.
- Strong knowledge of DVSA and RTITB standards.
- Experience developing or updating training content.
- Excellent presentation, coaching and communication skills.
- Strong organisational skills and willingness to travel nationwide.
Desirable
- NRI registration.
- Experience mentoring or quality-assuring trainers.
- Forklift or plant instructor qualification.
- Supervisory or team leadership experience.

- 100% delivery of the national CPC training schedule.
- Consistent training standards across all sites.
- Accurate, audit-ready records and full RTITB/DVSA compliance.
- Improved driver competence and reduced fleet accident rates.
This role is ideal for an experienced Driver CPC Trainer who enjoys working independently, influencing standards across multiple sites and driving continuous improvement in driver safety and compliance.
