We're partnering with a successful and growing organisation to recruit an experienced HR Advisor to support a busy operational function of approximately 100 employees within a customer contact centre environment.

This is an excellent opportunity for an HR professional who enjoys building strong relationships with managers, providing practical people advice, and managing a broad range of employee relations matters in a fast-paced setting.

Working as part of a developing HR team, you'll act as a trusted advisor to leaders and employees, helping to create a positive, engaged and high-performing workplace culture.

A significant focus of this position will be supporting managers within the contact centre operation, where you'll provide proactive and commercially focused HR guidance across a wide range of people matters.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing a variety of employee relations cases, including absence, performance, disciplinary, grievance and conduct matters
  • Coaching and supporting managers to build confidence in handling people issues effectively
  • Providing clear and pragmatic advice in line with employment legislation and company policies
  • Supporting organisational change projects and consultation processes when required
  • Identifying trends and underlying causes of people-related issues and recommending improvements
  • Assisting with the development and implementation of HR policies, procedures and manager guidance
  • Delivering training and coaching to managers on employee relations best practice
  • Producing HR reports and insights to support decision-making
  • Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives across the HR function

We're looking for an HR professional who combines strong employment law knowledge with a practical, people-focused approach.

You'll be able to demonstrate:

  • Previous experience in an HR Advisor position
  • Strong employee relations experience and confidence managing complex cases independently
  • Experience supporting operational, customer service or contact centre environments would be highly advantageous
  • Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills
  • The ability to balance employee wellbeing with commercial business needs
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • CIPD Level 5 qualification, or equivalent experience
  • Experience using HR systems and Microsoft Office applications

What's on Offer

  • Competitive salary
  • Generous holiday allowance with options to buy or sell additional leave
  • Enhanced pension contribution
  • Life assurance
  • Employee wellbeing programme
  • Health screening
  • Professional development opportunities
  • Recognition and reward schemes
  • Additional lifestyle and wellbeing benefits

If you're looking for an opportunity where you can make a genuine impact, build strong relationships with operational leaders, and play a key role in supporting a customer-focused workforce, we'd love to hear from you.
