Job Description

Position: Sr Saviynt Engineer

Location: Remote

Hiring Mode: 6+ Months Contract

Job Description:

We are seeking a Senior Saviynt Engineer with extensive hands-on experience designing, configuring, developing, and managing Saviynt Enterprise Identity Cloud (EIC) environments. This individual will play a key role in identity data integration, application onboarding, identity lifecycle management, and access governance.

The ideal candidate combines deep technical expertise in Saviynt with the ability to independently drive implementations, troubleshoot complex issues, and collaborate directly with business and technical stakeholders. This is a senior, hands-on engineering and development role requiring ownership of technical design and implementation, not a traditional enterprise architecture position.

Responsibilities:

  • Identity Data Integration and Design: Design, develop, and maintain integrations that bring identity data from multiple source systems into Saviynt. Establish data flows, identity correlation and aggregation, unique identity management, and reliable data exchange between source and target systems.
  • Saviynt Engineering and Configuration: Perform advanced hands-on configuration, development, troubleshooting, and enhancement of the Saviynt EIC platform.
  • Application Onboarding: Lead the technical onboarding and integration of applications into Saviynt, including defining integration requirements, validating data structures, and implementing provisioning and access management capabilities.
  • Identity Lifecycle Management: Design, configure, and support Joiner-Mover-Leaver (JML) processes, identity lifecycle workflows, access requests, provisioning, and deprovisioning.
  • Access Governance: Configure and maintain access certifications, certification campaigns, access reviews, and related governance processes in coordination with risk and compliance stakeholders.
  • Data Quality and Validation: Work directly with HR and other source-system owners to validate identity data, resolve data quality and formatting issues, and ensure source data meets Saviynt integration requirements.
  • Workflow and Integration Enhancement: Evaluate existing access request and provisioning workflows, identify opportunities for improvement, and implement enhancements that support business and security requirements.
  • Scripting and Automation: Use Python, shell scripting, or comparable technologies to support data processing, integration development, automation, testing, and troubleshooting as needed.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Proactively coordinate with HR, IT, help desk, application owners, risk, and compliance teams to gather requirements, resolve dependencies, and drive work through completion.
  • Technical Ownership: Independently investigate issues, identify solutions, coordinate necessary resources, and advance implementation work without requiring continuous direction.

Qualifications:

Required Qualifications

  • Extensive, hands-on experience with Saviynt Enterprise Identity Cloud (EIC) in an enterprise environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to independently design, configure, develop, troubleshoot, and enhance Saviynt implementations.
  • Strong experience designing and implementing identity data integrations involving multiple source systems, identity aggregation, correlation, and data flows.
  • Practical experience with application onboarding, provisioning integrations, and troubleshooting complex integration issues.
  • Strong working knowledge of Joiner-Mover-Leaver (JML) processes, access requests, provisioning and deprovisioning, access certifications, and governance campaigns within Saviynt.
  • Experience working with HR and other source-system owners to validate identity data, resolve data quality issues, and establish integration requirements.
  • Scripting or programming experience using Python, shell, or comparable technologies.
  • Demonstrated ability to independently drive technical work from requirements and design through implementation, testing, and resolution.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work effectively across business, security, compliance, and IT teams.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience implementing and supporting Saviynt integrations with enterprise applications and downstream systems.
  • Experience with API-based integrations, web services, and data transformation.
  • Experience improving existing identity governance processes, access request workflows, and provisioning operations.
  • Experience working in large, complex enterprise identity and access management (IAM) environments.

Tools and Technologies:

  • Saviynt Enterprise Identity Cloud (EIC)
  • Identity data integration, aggregation, and correlation
  • Identity lifecycle management and access governance
  • Python, shell scripting, or comparable scripting technologies
  • Application programming interfaces (APIs), web services, and data integration technologies
