2: Geometric Dimensioning And Tolerancing (GD&T)

We are looking for an Engineer CAD CAM 1 to support the Mechanical and Energetics department. This position will serve on-site at Chandler Arizona. The Engineer CAD CAM 1 will work within the design group and will be responsible for creating drawing/design packages with proper content and ensuring compliance with applicable industry and military standards.

Duties and Responsibilities

== Reviewing designs for fit, function, manufacturability, and economy of fabrication under the supervision of a Sr CAD Designer.
== This includes review of tolerance analysis, hardware selection and fitment on assembly prints.
== Basic knowledge in GD&T and application. y
== Verifying 3D models submitted to manufacturing utilizing Siemens NX 2412 managed with Teamcenter.
== Liaison with various engineering disciplines, Manufacturing, and Quality, and some vendor liaison.
== Modeling fully defined components and assemblies efficiently using Siemens NX 2412 managed with Teamcenter
== Create/revise parametric drawings in conformance with ASME modeling and drawing standards.
== Create and review mechanical drawings with appropriate personnel verifying completed work, checking dimensions, materials and quantities to be used.
== Mechanical modeling using NX 2412 managed with Teamcenter.
== Create/Revise parametric drawings in conformance with ASME 3D modeling and drawing standards.
== Perform related duties as assigned or required.
== Knowledge of Word, Excel, Windows and NX 1946 as required.
== Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
