Job Description

Job Title: ON-SITE - Java Architect - HBITS-08-14997 

Location:  Albany, NY, 12227 

Duration: 30 Months

Job Description:   

  • 84 months experience with J2EE technologies including EJB, JDBC, JSP and XML. 

  • 84 months experience with Java programming in an IBM development environment using IDE of IBM's Rational Application Developer (RAD) that are deployed to WebSphere Application Server (WAS). 

  • 84 months of IBM DB2 experience working with DB2 databases and experience with XML schemas (definition, querying and automated generation). 

  • 60 months experience in performance tuning applications interacting with databases. 

  • 60 months of experience in IBM MQSeries 

  • 60 months experience with an organization which includes technical design, development, maintenance and end user support of system.

Detailed Job Description: This position will be in support of the NYS Tax Modernization Program. This program will encompass multiple projects to modernize legacy systems within the NYS Department of Taxation and Finance, which is responsible for billions in state revenue. Some of the major areas under modernization include: • Collections and Accounts Receivable • Taxpayer Accounting • Withholding Tax Returns Processing
