Job Description

Ascension Property Services (APS), based in Palo Alto, CA, is seeking a BIM/CAD Coordinator to support technology-driven real estate and facilities projects. You will develop, manage, and maintain BIM and CAD models, ensuring accuracy, version control, and adherence to project standards. Working closely with project managers, engineers, and IT teams, you will integrate data from multiple systems, coordinate model clashes, and prepare drawings and documentation. You'll help define BIM/CAD standards, automate workflows, support end users, and contribute to continuous improvement in a collaborative, innovation-focused environment.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, manage, and maintain BIM and CAD models for property and facilities projects
  • Ensure model accuracy, standards compliance, and robust version control
  • Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and IT to coordinate design data
  • Run clash detection, resolve conflicts, and support design coordination reviews
  • Prepare technical drawings, layouts, and project documentation
  • Support integration of BIM/CAD data with other software platforms and databases
  • Create and maintain BIM/CAD standards, templates, and best-practice guidelines
  • Automate repetitive tasks using scripts, plug-ins, or customization tools
  • Train and support users on BIM/CAD tools and workflows
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives for digital design processes
