Role – PEOPLE SOFT TECHNO-FUNCTIONAL CONSULTANT

Client: Healthcare Enterprise
Employment Type: Contract
Duration: 6–12 Months
Location: Remote

Position Overview

seeking an experienced PeopleSoft Techno-Functional Consultant to support enterprise application transformation, business process modernization, integrations, and production operations. The consultant will work closely with business stakeholders, technical teams, and project leadership to develop scalable solutions across PeopleSoft HCM and/or FSCM.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead PeopleSoft architecture, solution design, and technical strategy across HCM/FSCM.

  • Gather business requirements and conduct fit-gap analysis.

  • Design PeopleSoft configurations, customizations, integrations, reporting, and data conversion solutions.

  • Provide architecture standards for PeopleCode, Application Engine, Application Designer, Component Interfaces, SQL, and PeopleTools.

  • Design and oversee Integration Broker, REST/SOAP, file-based, and third-party integrations.

  • Develop reporting strategies using PS Query, BI Publisher, SQR, and related tools.

  • Lead data mapping, conversion, validation, reconciliation, and data quality initiatives.

  • Provide production support, RCA, troubleshooting, and performance optimization.

  • Define and oversee system, integration, regression, performance, and UAT testing.

  • Support PeopleSoft upgrades, patches, Fluid adoption, and modernization initiatives.

  • Provide technical leadership, mentoring, documentation, and knowledge transfer.

Required Skills

  • 10+ years of PeopleSoft experience.

  • Strong PeopleSoft HCM and/or FSCM experience.

  • Expert knowledge of:

    • PeopleTools

    • PeopleCode

    • Application Engine

    • Application Designer

    • Component Interfaces

    • Integration Broker

    • SQL

  • Strong enterprise integration, reporting, data conversion, and modernization experience.

  • Understanding of PeopleSoft security, approval workflows, performance optimization, and end-to-end business processes.

  • Experience with implementations, upgrades, enhancements, migrations, and production support.

  • Strong communication, leadership, stakeholder management, and presentation skills.

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant experience.

Preferred Qualifications

  • PeopleSoft-to-Workday migration experience.

  • PeopleSoft Update Manager (PUM) and Change Assistant.

  • Fluid applications and PeopleTools modernization.

  • Healthcare industry experience.

  • Enterprise architecture governance and technical standards.

  • Cloud platforms, middleware, API management, identity management, and enterprise integration patterns.
