Job Description Individuals in this role serve as the first point of contact for monitoring and operational support across a large-scale portfolio of enterprise applications and environments. This position is well-suited for early-career systems administrators or technical support professionals who are motivated to grow their technical skillset in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment.
The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, responsive under pressure, and capable of learning new systems and workflows quickly. This role requires both technical troubleshooting ability and strong collaboration skills to help maintain the stability and availability of critical user environments.
Key Responsibilities Monitor system health and respond to alerts across multiple production environments
Support uptime and availability of critical applications by identifying issues and communicating actionable insights
Assist with software updates, data transfers, and deployment of system patches
Collaborate with distributed engineering teams to investigate and resolve system issues
Provide technical support to geographically dispersed end users
Gather and analyze system logs and diagnostic data to support performance monitoring and issue resolution
Perform basic administrative functions across both user-facing and backend systems, including user account management Desired Qualifications DoD 8570-compliant certification (e.g., Security+ or equivalent)
Prior experience in military IT support roles or similar operational environments is preferred
Strong work ethic with the ability to manage multiple tasks and shifting priorities
Comfortable learning new tools, processes, and systems in a dynamic environment
Foundational knowledge of hardware and software troubleshooting
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a collaborative team setting
