Hiring: Domain Architect – Digital Products (B2B/B2C Commerce & Mobile)

We are looking for a hands-on Domain Architect (Director-level technical track) to shape the architectural vision and governance across an enterprise digital portfolio—bridging consumer-facing touchpoints with complex enterprise backend systems.

  • Engagement: Contract (C2C / 1099) – 6 Months (Potential extension)

  • Location: Calhoun, GA / Greater Atlanta Area (Hybrid – Local candidates only)

Key Responsibilities

  • Architectural Vision: Define target architectures, technical roadmaps, and reference blueprints across digital touchpoints.

  • Commerce & Mobile Strategy: Architect scalable multi-tier B2B portals (order management, pricing, dealer workflows), B2C storefronts, and cross-platform mobile apps.

  • Identity & CIAM: Lead customer-facing authentication and SSO migrations (Ping Identity, ForgeRock) across web and mobile.

  • Composable Architecture: Drive MACH (Microservices, API-first, Cloud-native, Headless) patterns, event-driven systems, and GraphQL/REST layers.

  • Governance & Leadership: Chair Architecture Review Boards (ARBs), enforce API standards, and partner closely with engineering squads and executive stakeholders.

What We Are Looking For

  • Experience: 8–12+ years in software engineering and enterprise/solutions architecture within digital product domains.

  • Digital Commerce: Proven experience with B2B/B2C platforms (e.g., SAP Commerce/Hybris, commercetools, Adobe Commerce, or headless engines).

  • Mobile & Cloud: Background architecting enterprise mobile apps (iOS, Android, React Native, or Flutter) and deep hands-on expertise with Microsoft Azure (APIM, Event Grid, App Services, Azure AD/B2C).

  • Identity/CIAM: Hands-on design experience with Ping Identity (PingFederate, PingAccess, PingOne) and/or ForgeRock.
