Senior Cloud Systems Engineer

Job Summary

We are seeking a Senior Cloud Systems Engineer to support and optimize large-scale global SaaS infrastructure. This role focuses on Linux administration, automation, cloud operations, production support, and infrastructure reliability.

Responsibilities

• Administer and support large-scale Linux/cloud infrastructure.
• Develop automation and tools using Python, Bash, or JavaScript.
• Manage Infrastructure as Code and Configuration Management.
• Support server provisioning, patching, maintenance, and automation.
• Troubleshoot complex production issues across systems, databases, networks, and applications.
• Participate in incident response, escalations, and Root Cause Analysis.
• Support technologies including Kafka, RabbitMQ, Elasticsearch, Cloudera, Puppet, F5 BIG-IP, NGINX, and DNS.
• Partner with engineering teams on production readiness, testing, and infrastructure improvements.

MUST HAVE

• Expert-level Linux Systems Administration/Engineering.
• Experience with large-scale production or cloud infrastructure.
• Strong Python, Bash, JavaScript, or Perl scripting.
• Experience with Ansible, Puppet, Chef, CFEngine, or similar configuration management tools.
• Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code / automation.
• Strong troubleshooting skills across Linux, databases, networks, and applications.
• Experience with MySQL, Oracle, PostgreSQL, or MariaDB.
• Understanding of routing, switching, DNS, and load balancing.
• Experience with monitoring/logging tools such as Splunk, Nagios, Icinga, or Logstash.
• Strong communication and production support skills.\
• SRE/DevOps experience.

• F5 BIG-IP, NGINX, Kafka, RabbitMQ, Elasticsearch, or Cloudera experience.
• Experience supporting global, highly available SaaS environments.
