About the Role

The Enterprise Email Security team is responsible for safeguarding email communications for a complex global organization. The team is transforming its infrastructure from a legacy on-premises environment to a robust multi-cloud ecosystem across leading cloud service providers.

The company is seeking a Senior Multi-Cloud Infrastructure and Security Architect to provide technical leadership and translate security requirements into practical, scalable, secure, and resilient cloud engineering solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Hybrid & Multi-Cloud Architecture

• Architect and implement secure multi-cloud infrastructure across AWS and Azure (Google Cloud Platform is a plus).
• Develop hybrid connectivity solutions between on-premises and cloud systems.
• Establish scalable IAM hierarchies, cross-account trust relationships, and organizational units.

Infrastructure Resiliency & Disaster Recovery

• Architect high-availability and disaster recovery solutions across multiple cloud providers.
• Develop, document, and test automated failover mechanisms for critical workloads.

Infrastructure as Code & Automation

• Define, build, and maintain IaC repositories using automation platforms.
• Implement secure CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and GitHub Actions with security guardrails and static analysis tools.

Technical Advisory & Collaboration

• Serve as the primary cloud infrastructure SME for the Cyber Security team.
• Collaborate with network and systems teams to migrate or extend legacy workloads to the cloud.

Required Skills & Experience

• 8+ years of experience managing, designing, and deploying IT infrastructure within a Fortune 500 or equivalent large-scale enterprise.
• Deep hands-on production experience with at least two major cloud vendors, preferably AWS and Azure.
• Strong networking experience with firewalls, load balancers, VLANs, proxies, VPCs, VNets, and Transit Gateways.
• Advanced proficiency with automation tools.
• Strong understanding of cloud security frameworks and modern identity protocols.
• Strong proficiency with Python, Shell scripting, and Unix/Linux.

Desired Certifications

• AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional / AWS Certified Security – Specialty
• Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert / Azure Security Engineer Associate
• CCSP or equivalent infrastructure-focused certifications

Preferred / Plus Qualifications

• Secure Email Gateway products such as Proofpoint and Fortimail.
• Exchange Online security products such as Sublime Security and Abnormal Email Security.
• Large-scale email broadcast or bulk-messaging platforms.
• Compliance frameworks, audits, and regulatory examinations.
• Email platform integration with monitoring, logging, and AIOps tooling.
• Experience mentoring senior or mid-level engineers.
