Job Description

Financial Controller
Your Day-to-Day:
  • Coordinate accounting, tax and legal matters for internal entities as well as investment funds and SPVs
  • Support the preparation and coordination of recurring financial and regulatory reporting
  • Contribute to the preparation of quarterly accounting reports, annual financial statements, tax and VAT returns and other regulatory filings
  • Review financial reports prepared by external service providers and ensure the implementation of appropriate controls
  • Coordinate audit processes and act as a key point of contact with external and group auditors
  • Ensure that audit documentation and required information are provided accurately and within deadlines
  • Follow up on audit findings and support the resolution of identified issues
  • Manage cash management activities and payment processes
  • Perform intercompany reconciliations and coordinate intercompany settlements where required
  • Assist with the preparation of budget forecasts for internal entities
  • Contribute to transfer pricing analysis and related financial models
  • Support the preparation of consolidation activities for internal entities
  • Work closely with investment and deal teams on financial and controlling matters
  • Liaise regularly with internal stakeholders, accounting, tax and legal service providers, auditors and external advisors
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of financial control and reporting processes
  • Take on additional responsibilities according to business needs and professional development opportunities

Your Profile:
  • Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Economics or a related field
  • 3-5 years of relevant professional experience in Real Estate and/or Private Equity
  • Previous experience in a similar Financial Controller / Fund Controller / Finance role, preferably within an in-house environment
  • Good knowledge of IFRS, INREV and local GAAP
  • Strong technical accounting knowledge
  • Solid understanding of tax, VAT and regulatory reporting
  • Experience with financial reporting, statutory accounts and audit processes
  • Good understanding of cash management and intercompany reconciliation
  • Experience with consolidation and budgeting activities
  • Knowledge of transfer pricing is an advantage
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and high level of accuracy
  • Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Proactive, positive and solution-oriented mindset
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a finance team and with external stakeholders
  • Fluent in English
  • Knowledge of French and/or German would be considered an advantage
