Tier 3 Unified Communications/Audio Visual Engineer (Software) with Security Clearance

Position Title: Tier 3 Unified Communications/Audio Visual Engineer (Software) Location: Fort Meade, Maryland Clearance Requirements: TS/SCI with Full Scope Polygraph Pay Rate: $200,000 per year

Position Description: We are seeking an experienced Tier 3 Unified Communications/Audio Visual Engineer to provide advanced engineering, troubleshooting, and lifecycle support for enterprise UC and AVMM systems within a secure government environment. This role involves resolving complex escalated issues, designing innovative solutions, and ensuring peak performance of telephony, video conferencing, digital signage, mass notification, LMR, and secure AV environments.

Lead system upgrades, conduct in-depth testing, and collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams to support enterprise-wide deployments both domestically and internationally. As a senior technical resource, you will mentor junior engineers, create detailed documentation, and serve as a key liaison with government stakeholders to expand system capabilities.

Top Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Engineering, or related field with 7+ years of relevant experience, or equivalent experience (10+ years with an Associate degree, or 15+ years with a high school diploma)
• Proven expertise supporting enterprise UC/AV Systems (Cisco, Avaya, Poly, Crestron, Extron, WebEx, MS Teams, etc.) at Tier 3 levels
• Hands-on experience with VTC infrastructure, VoIP, and AV signal distribution
• Strong troubleshooting skills across hardware, software, and network layers
• Active TS/SCI clearance with Full Scope Polygraph required
• Industry certifications such as AVIXA CTS, Crestron DMC-D, Extron AV Associate, Cisco CCNP Collaboration are highly desirable
