This employer is seeking an experienced Engineer III to support critical submarine shipbuilding programs. The role involves applying engineering principles to design, develop, and analyze complex systems within a collaborative, high-impact environment. The Role

• Provide engineering support to Program Offices for SUBMARINE ship building initiatives, including Columbia Class, Virginia Class, and Future Attack Submarine programs.
• Assist in the enhancement of structures and processes within the submarine research, development, acquisition, and maintenance communities.
• Apply scientific and mathematical principles to solve technical challenges and develop innovative
• Design, test, and qualify naval shipboard electrical and/or propulsion equipment.
• Analyze the environmental and user impact of developed products and systems.

What You'll Need

• Master's degree in any technical or engineering discipline.
• 7 years of professional engineering experience (desired).
• 7+ years of experience in the design, test, qualification, and production of naval shipboard electrical and/or propulsion equipment (desired).
• Experience with Submarines and/or the Naval Nuclear Propulsion Program (desired).
• Experience with large electrical machines and/or power electronics (desired).
• Must be a U.S. citizen.
• Must possess a secret security clearance.
