Commercial Laundry Engineer

Good opportunities to work for a nationwide, commercial laundry company that is going through some great expansion these past few years.After a number of company acquisitions they are looking to strengthen their position to be able to provide a quality service to its clients.They have been running over 20 years and can count some very well know companies as clients.

Due to a expansion they are currently looking for a commercial laundry equipment engineer, you will be:-

• Providing service and maintenance on commercial laundry equipment commercial and industrial washing machines, tumble driers, rotary irons, finishing machines, dishwashers and some dosing machines
• Working on electrical and gas fired commercial laundry equipment
• Covering Norfolk and some Suffolk
• Working with clients such as nursing homes, hospitals, offices, holiday parks, hotels

Experience / skills required for a commercial laundry engineer

• Experience within commercial laundry equipment would be beneficial but is not essential
• They are looking to train someone up ongas commercial laundry equipment so need someone with existing domestic or commercial gas certificates
• They would also consider someone who has experience working on commercial catering equipment or commercial dishwashers
• Living ideally in the Norfolk area, the closer to the Norwich area the better
• Good electrical competency

Salary for a commercial laundry engineer

• 38k basic if you have any gas certificates
• 35k basic if you dont have gas certs but have relevant electrical industry experience
• Door to door travel pay
• 2k annual performance bonus paid on a quarterly basis
• Van, phone, overtime
• Call out rota for 1 weekend in 5
• 25 days holiday + 8 bank holidays
• Great further training on gas laundry equipment
