Senior IT Technician Norwich £20.44 PAYE OR £26.76 Umbrella 5-6 months (till March 2027) 37.5 hours a week REED Technology are recruiting for a Senior Infrastructure Technician to join a large and well-established organisation on a long-term contract based in Norwich.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced infrastructure professional who enjoys working across complex IT environments, solving technical issues and supporting business-critical systems.

You will act as a senior technical escalation point, providing 3rd line support, maintaining core infrastructure services and delivering technical project work. The position offers a varied workload covering Windows Server environments, Active Directory, networking, hardware support and wider infrastructure services.

Responsibilities Providing advanced 3rd line infrastructure support<br />Supporting Windows Server and Active Directory environments<br />Maintaining network and infrastructure services<br />Investigating and resolving complex technical incidents<br />Supporting upgrades, maintenance and project activity<br />Working with suppliers and internal stakeholders<br />Assisting with infrastructure improvements and technical initiativesSkills and Experience Proven experience within a 3rd Line Support, Infrastructure Engineer or Senior Infrastructure role<br />Strong Windows Server administration experience<br />Advanced Active Directory skills<br />Experience supporting enterprise infrastructure environments<br />Knowledge of networking technologies including LAN, WAN and wireless networks<br />Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills<br />Full UK Driving LicenceDesirable Microsoft 365 administration<br />SCCM administration<br />ITIL Foundation certification<br />Experience within healthcare, public sector or other large-scale environmentsIf you're an experienced Infrastructure professional looking for a long-term contract opportunity, please contact REED Technology today for a confidential discussion.
