Job Description:
Our client needs a highly organized, technically strong Software Engineer Team Lead to lead application security vulnerability remediation within the Digital organization. This role will coordinate across multiple development teams, provide technical guidance, and drive vulnerabilities from identification through complete remediation and closure.
Key Responsibilities
Responsibilities:
Lead and coordinate remediation of static and dynamic security vulnerabilities identified through multiple security tools.
Review code and analyze vulnerabilities to determine root cause and appropriate remediation.
Provide technical leadership, mentoring, and guidance to development teams.
Coordinate work across full-time employees and consultants and drive issues through completion.
Track vulnerabilities and remediation activities through ServiceNow (SNOW), ensuring tickets are fully closed after the technical remediation is completed.
Work hands-on with development and troubleshooting when needed.
Collaborate across technology and product teams to organize priorities and ensure remediation stays on track.
Help teams resolve vulnerabilities involving application code, APIs, authentication, data obfuscation, and other security concerns.
Required Skills:
5+ years of software engineering experience; approximately 7 years is typical for the lead-level designation.
Strong C# / .NET development experience, including .NET 10.
Experience with React.
Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including vulnerability triage and root-cause analysis.
Ability to provide technical leadership while remaining hands-on.
Excellent organization, communication, mentoring, and cross-team coordination skills.
Experience reviewing code specifically related to security and vulnerability remediation.
Preferred Qualifications
Application security or vulnerability remediation experience.
Cybersecurity experience.
Harness experience.
OpenShift/Kubernetes experience.
ServiceNow/SNOW experience.
Banking, financial services, digital banking, cards, payments, or retail banking experience.
