Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Software Solutions Architect with strong Salesforce and enterprise application development experience. The ideal candidate will lead technical architecture, solution design, integration, development standards, and technical direction for complex Salesforce-based applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end architecture and technical design of Salesforce solutions supporting case management, field services, and user engagement.
• Conduct Salesforce org health checks and platform assessments and provide actionable recommendations based on best practices.
• Participate in Design & Discovery sessions and promote Salesforce Well-Architected Framework principles.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to development teams, including employees and contractors.
• Translate complex business requirements into scalable, secure, and maintainable Salesforce solutions.
• Lead Proof of Concepts (POCs) to validate technical feasibility and business value.
• Ensure Secure Application Development Lifecycle (SADLC) practices throughout development and deployment.
• Establish technical direction for enterprise applications and integrations.
• Support Tier 2 applications and participate in 24/7 operational support as required.
• Design and implement application security aligned with organizational policies and standards.
• Lead impact analysis for legislative, business-process, and system changes.
• Coordinate integrations across internal systems, external partners, agencies, and hosting platforms.
• Review and approve technical designs, engineering deliverables, presentations, demonstrations, and documentation.
• Collaborate with Product Owners, Business Analysts, development teams, and technical stakeholders.
• Support Agile backlog refinement, release readiness, testing, deployment, and production activities.
• Research emerging technologies and recommend improvements to development tools, processes, and configuration management practices.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 5+ years gathering and analyzing business and technical requirements with stakeholders.
• 5+ years of hands-on Salesforce experience.
• 5+ years of experience with SQL, Java, and web services development.
• Experience designing and implementing CI/CD pipelines, including pipeline-as-code, branching strategies, automated code reviews, and testing.
• 2-3 Salesforce certifications.
• Strong ability to communicate technical concepts effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Demonstrated experience providing technical leadership and solving complex application and system-design problems.

Preferred Qualifications

• Salesforce Architect certification.
• Experience with enterprise-level Salesforce implementations.
• Database-related certifications.
• 5+ years of Agile development experience.
• Strong Oracle SQL development experience, including query execution and performance tuning.
• Experience with DevOps practices, automated builds, regression/smoke testing, and multi-environment deployments.
• Experience troubleshooting complex system issues and providing technical guidance to development teams.
• Experience with application security, enterprise integrations, and configuration management.
