Senior Relationship Manager & Business Developer - IFA / EAM (M/F)

We are looking for an experienced and results-driven Relationship Manager & Business Developer to support our growth and further develop our business relationship and Independent Financial Advisors IFA client network, that is looking for a strong partner offering custodian and transactional banking services, coupled with credit solutions. This is a unique opportunity to join a dynamic and entrepreneurial working environment, a great team of experts sharing a clear vision and business strategy, and to get the chance to evolve in universal bank at human size, at the headquarters. The position is based in Luxembourg, you will join a team of 10 Relationship Managers focusing on those specific activities, within the Wealth Management division of BIL.

Your next challenge:

• Develop your book of clients, with a defined growth strategy, fostering on building both long-term and trustworthy relationships with IFA / EAM, leveraging our full wealth management service's offering.
• Cultivate existing relationships with IFA / EAM and end-clients, ensuring the delivery of exceptional service, and driving business growth through this existing client base.
• Leverage the right internal experts (i.e. Credit Structurer, KYC Officer, etc.) and collaborate across business lines to secure business leads.
• Maintain an extensive knowledge of the current market conditions to detect and/or anticipate possible commercial opportunities for the customers
• Attend internal and external events to develop your network and client's portfolio.

Your skills:

• A relevant University background in Finance
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in a similar function.
• A strong existing network of IFA / EAM in Luxembourg, France, UK or any other country.
• A strong understanding of the IFA / EAM offering, including credit
• Excellent interpersonal skills, an entrepreneurial spirit
• Proven ability to build sustainable relationships internally and externally
• Proven negotiation skills and the ability to close deals
• Fluent in English and French
• Strongly client- and results-oriented
• Rigorous, organized and methodical in customer approach actions
• Willing and able to travel
