Business Analyst (with Fed exp)

Our client is looking for an Business Analyst (with Fed exp) for a project and below is the detailed requirement.

Job Title : Business Analyst (with Fed exp)
Location : Remote

Note: BA with prior Fed experience (“Fedwire” or “FedLine”)

Job Description:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field with 12+ years of overall IT experience.
• Requirements elicitation and technical documentation — ability to create PRDs, user flows, process maps, process flows, requirements documents, data flows, sequence diagrams, file specifications, data dictionaries, API contracts, and error-handling documentation.
• Documentation governance and content strategy — experience creating documentation strategies, taxonomy/classification models, style guides, version control procedures, retention/archival policies, and SharePoint vs. JIRA vs. Confluence storage guidance.
• Confluence, SharePoint, JIRA, and JIRA Align expertise — ability to assess current-state documentation, clean up Confluence, map existing content to a new structure, identify duplicate/orphaned content, and manage backlog/user stories.
• Process mapping and analytical skills — proficiency with tools such as Visio, Lucidchart, or Miro; knowledge of BPMN, swimlane diagrams, value stream mapping, and strong Excel/spreadsheet skills for analysis and prioritization.
• Agile/SAFe and stakeholder communication — experience working in Agile Release Trains, writing user stories and acceptance criteria, facilitating discussions, managing stakeholders, translating technical details for business audiences, and driving consensus across teams.
