Job Description

Payrate: $50.00 - $55.00/hr.
Summary:
We are seeking a professional to support content governance, information protection, and compliance initiatives across enterprise collaboration platforms. This role is responsible for ensuring documents and content are stored in the appropriate locations, shared securely, and managed according to organizational policies and regulatory requirements. The focus is on governance, policy enforcement, risk mitigation, and stakeholder engagement.
Responsibilities

Monitor and govern content across platforms such as SharePoint, Confluence, and Box.
Ensure compliance with document management, retention, and data protection policies.
Review internal and external content-sharing activities and verify adherence to security requirements, including expiring links and access controls.
Partner with Security, Compliance, and Business teams to identify and resolve governance issues.
Drive corrective actions and escalate policy violations when necessary.
Conduct content audits, governance reviews, and compliance reporting.
Support governance initiatives within Azure Government environments.

Qualifications

3 years of experience in Document Governance, Information Governance, Compliance, Records Management, or Data Governance.
Experience with collaboration and document management platforms such as SharePoint, Confluence, Microsoft 365, or Box.
Understanding of information security, data protection, access management, and content lifecycle management.
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence and challenge senior stakeholders when needed.
Comfortable handling escalations and driving policy adherence across teams.

Ability to work cross-functionally and handle pushback effectively.

Pay Transparency: The typical base pay for this role across the U.S. is: $50.00 - $55.00 /hour. Non-exempt positions are eligible for overtime at a rate of 1.5 times the base hourly rate for all hours worked in excess of 40 in a work week, or as required by state or local law. Final offer amounts, within the base pay set forth above, are determined by factors including your relevant skills, education and experience. Full-time employees are eligible to select from different benefits packages.
