Job Description

Role: Systems Engineer Client: Defense-Aerospace Hourly Rate: $70/hr W2, non-benefited Length: Long-Term Location: Taunton, MA Clearance: Ability to obtain a Department of Defense Secret security clearance is required at time of hire.

Description:

  • Integrate advanced hardware components - including Single Board Computers (SBCs), FPGAs, and GPUs - into system chassis in accordance with design documentation
  • Work alongside engineers across disciplines to support full lifecycle system integration efforts We welcome candidates with any combination of the following skills and experiences:
  • Problem Solving: Ability to independently isolate, diagnose, and resolve complex hardware, software, or firmware issues
  • Test Development: Experience writing and executing detailed test procedures to validate system hardware and software against functional and performance requirements
  • Test Automation: Familiarity with automated test scripting
  • OpenVPX: Hands-on experience configuring OpenVPX chassis and cards
  • Network Analysis: Proficiency with network troubleshooting tools such as Wireshark
  • Virtualization: Experience with virtual environments including VMware and Linux-based virtual devices
  • CMOSS/SOSA: Familiarity with CMOSS and/or SOSA standards is a plus What sets you apart:
