Observability Engineer

Introduction:

We are seeking an experienced Multi-Cloud Monitoring & Observability Engineer responsible for designing, implementing, and managing comprehensive monitoring and observability solutions across AWS, Microsoft Azure, and Google Cloud Platform (Google Cloud Platform). The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in cloud-native and third-party observability platforms, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), and automated deployment pipelines.

Responsibilities:

• Design and implement monitoring and observability solutions across multiple cloud platforms (AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud Platform).
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure observability requirements are met.
• Utilize Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools to automate deployment pipelines.
• Implement and maintain Terraform scripts for infrastructure provisioning.
• Leverage Jenkins, GitHub Actions, and other CI/CD tools for automated deployments.
• Collaborate with teams to ensure secure, scalable, standardized, and repeatable deployments.
• Develop and maintain landing zone pipelines for observability solutions.
• Participate in Auto SDLC processes to ensure observability throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Monitor and troubleshoot observability solutions to ensure optimal performance.
• Stay current on industry trends and best practices in observability and monitoring.

Requirements:

Required Skills:

• Hands-on experience with AWS, Microsoft Azure, and Google Cloud Platform.
• Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform.
• Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins and GitHub Actions.
• Knowledge of observability platforms and solutions.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with enterprise Auto SDLC processes.
• Familiarity with landing zone pipelines for observability solutions.
• Certifications in cloud platforms (AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud Platform).
• Experience with automated deployment pipelines.
