Account Manager Victoria, reporting to the State Manager, responsible for driving sales performance and growing market share across On, Off, and eRetail channels within your territory.
As an Account Manager, you will be responsible for delivering MHA's business objectives and achieving agreed sales targets within your assigned territory, while aligning with and executing the strategic priorities of MHANZ in your day to day activities.

This role is focused on driving sustainable market share growth across On-Premise, Off-Premise, and eRetail channels, while strengthening customer partnerships and elevating brand presence across the full portfolio. You will also play a key role in fostering a high performance culture, contributing to both team success and the broader business outcomes.
Category Leadership
- Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets set in partnership with the State Manager
- Expand distribution and visibility across all channels in line with agreed objectives
- Differentiate MH brands through best in class storytelling and sharing of market leading insights
- Act as a brand ambassador, demonstrating deep product knowledge and elevating brand desirability; adapt to evolving customer needs and market dynamics
- Support digital transformation initiatives through impactful activations and execution excellence
Industry Sales Leadership
- Deliver commercial objectives by positioning yourself as a trusted and valued partner to customers
- Provide tailored, insight led solutions to meet customer needs
- Ensure full compliance with distribution agreements and territory growth targets
- Utilise Salesforce and QLIK to track performance, manage KPIs, and maintain accurate reporting
- Complete on premise distribution surveys following each customer interaction
- Monitor competitor activity, pricing, and promotions, providing timely feedback to the wider team
Brand Storytelling & Experience
- Bring MH's iconic brands to life through compelling storytelling rooted in heritage and craftsmanship
- Showcase product quality and portfolio strengths to drive engagement and advocacy
- Represent the art of luxury in all customer interactions, including service rituals and brand experiences
- Inspire a culture of excellence, contributing to strong brand equity and desirability
Availability & Execution Excellence
- Develop and execute activation plans across key accounts, tracked through Salesforce
- Maintain high merchandising standards across physical and digital channels
- Maximise product visibility, facings, and displays in line with distribution targets
- Ensure MH brands stand out in market through superior execution and activation
Governance & Financial Responsibility
- Ensure full compliance with company policies, procedures, and ways of working
- Monitor customer financial health and proactively flag risks to relevant stakeholders
- Drive timely collection of outstanding payments and maintain strong credit discipline
- Collaborate closely with Sales and Credit teams to manage accounts effectively
- Support market visits with senior leaders, marketing teams, and brand stakeholders
- Participate actively in sales meetings, sharing insights, trends, and best practices
- Represent Moët Hennessy's values and contribute to crafting exceptional brand experiences
Decision-Making Authority
- Prioritise initiatives based on business and customer needs
- Identify and develop new business opportunities within the territory
- Execute trading terms in line with company guidelines
Referred authority
- Trade rebates and customer incentives
- Credit limit adjustments and credit control decisions
- Trade related expenses, including customer engagement
Languages
- Full English written and spoken proficiency
Experience
- Wine/Spirit product knowledge
- At least 3 years sales, experience with an international fast moving consumer goods or liquor company
- Good understanding of On / Off and eRetail channels

- Strong planning, presentation and negotiation skills
- Strong numerical, analytical and statistical skills
- Excellent communication, networking and interpersonal skills
- High standard of computer literacy (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
