Senior Automation Solutions Engineer
Position Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated Senior Automation Solutions Engineer to design, develop, and maintain automation solutions that improve operational efficiency, reduce manual effort, and accelerate delivery outcomes. This role focuses on software development, process automation, systems integration, and emerging technologies to modernize business processes and enhance scalability.
The ideal candidate is a strong developer who can quickly learn complex enterprise and mainframe-based systems, understand the underlying business processes, and build automation solutions, intelligent workflows, and agent-based capabilities that drive measurable business value.
Key Responsibilities
• Design, develop, and maintain automation solutions, tools, and utilities using modern development frameworks and programming languages.
• Build reusable frameworks and accelerators that improve implementation, migration, testing, support, and operational processes.
• Develop integrations across enterprise applications, APIs, databases, cloud platforms, and legacy systems.
• Analyze and gain expertise in complex business processes and mainframe-based applications to identify automation and modernization opportunities.
• Design and develop intelligent workflow solutions, conversational assistants, and agent-driven capabilities that improve productivity and operational efficiency.
• Research, learn, and apply emerging technologies, including AI platforms, large language models (LLMs), and agent frameworks, to solve business challenges.
• Collaborate with business and technical teams to translate requirements into scalable technical solutions.
• Create technical documentation, solution designs, and implementation plans.
• Ensure solutions meet security, performance, reliability, and compliance standards.
Required Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in software development, automation engineering, or systems integration.
• Strong experience with Python, Java, C#, JavaScript, or similar technologies.
• Experience developing APIs, integrations, and automation solutions.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to quickly learn complex systems, technologies, and business processes.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience working with mainframe or legacy enterprise systems.
• Experience building workflow automation or orchestration solutions.
• Experience developing chatbots, copilots, intelligent assistants, or agent-based solutions.
• Familiarity with Generative AI, LLMs, RAG, AI agent frameworks, or Copilot technologies.
• Experience with Azure, AWS, DevOps, CI/CD, and cloud-native development.
